The hydrosol is the aqueous phase recovered during the distillation of the essential oil (EO). It contains the plant's water-soluble active ingredients, which are much more diluted than in the EO. The hydrosol is ready to use, without dilution, directly on the skin. The EO is concentrated and requires dilution in a carrier oil (VO) before application.

Can chamomile hydrosol be used on the eyes?
