What is Betsara organic Ravintsara hydrosol?

When Ravintsara leaves (Cinnamomum camphora) are distilled, two products are obtained: the essential oil, which floats to the top, and the hydrosol (or floral water), the aqueous phase containing the plant's water-soluble compounds. The hydrosol is much lighter than the essential oil. Betsara's is distilled at the Sahambavy plantation, on the Malagasy Highlands, using the same leaves and the same batch traceability as the essential oil.
