What is Betsara organic Ravintsara essential oil?

Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora CT 1,8-cineole) is a tree from the Lauraceae family. On the Malagasy Highlands, at an altitude of approximately 1,200 m, it produces an essential oil low in camphor and rich in 1,8-cineole (from 54% to 60% depending on the batch). Betsara essential oil is distilled from fresh leaves hand-picked at the Sahambavy plantation, in the Fianarantsoa region. Each batch is analyzed by gas chromatography before bottling. It was voted Best Organic Product in 2019.
