Borage oil: exceptional GLA content
Borage oil contains 18-24% GLA, the highest concentration among common edible vegetable oils (vs. evening primrose 8-12%). The seeds are grown, harvested, and pressed in France by Maison Rouillard, without heating or refining, which preserves the entirety of the fatty acids. GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid that is a precursor to prostaglandins involved in various biological processes.
