Why use Dr.Valnet's Cinnamon essential oil?

It is a very broad-spectrum antibacterial essential oil. It also has effective antiviral and antifungal action. It will be used to help combat many severe bacterial or viral infections. ENT, bronchitis, dental, gastrointestinal, urinary infections.

It also has a tonic and stimulating action on the cardiac, circulatory, and respiratory systems. It stimulates general vitality and the immune system.

It is often recommended to stimulate a lack of libido, following general fatigue.

Be careful with Cinnamon essential oil, which presents strong dermo-causticity. It can be very aggressive, even allergenic, on the skin and mucous membranes. Therefore, always perform a skin test in the crook of the elbow and use it diluted in vegetable oil. Not for use in children, for prolonged use, or in high doses.

It also proves very effective on warts.

How to use Dr.Valnet's Cinnamon essential oil?

Instructions for use

Oral route: Possible after consultation with a specialist doctor. Aggressive on mucous membranes.

On the skin: with caution, strong dilution.

It can be used highly diluted in a vegetable oil, 5%, for localized anointing and without prolonged use, or directly on a localized infected area.

In diffusion: preferably in a blend.

It is very pleasant to diffuse for those who like its distinctive aroma! Combine with citrus essential oils, Orange, Mandarin, Lemon…

IMPORTANT: Respect the instructions for use, precautions, and dosages. Perform a skin test in the crook of the elbow to avoid a possible allergy risk. Apply one drop and wait 24 hours for any skin reaction or other. Be careful with eyes!

Native to Sri Lanka, the cinnamon tree is a tree 6 to 12 meters high, cultivated in other tropical areas, particularly in the West Indies and Madagascar. Its persistent, oval leaves are bright green, its flowers are greenish and have an unpleasant odor, and its fruit is a purple, club-shaped berry. Its thick, rough bark is harvested by farmers during the rainy season.

A spice long considered a true treasure, a symbol of power and wealth, Ceylon cinnamon is one of the oldest known and most widely used spices in the world. It should not be confused with Chinese cinnamon or cassia cinnamon.

A bit of history…

The term "cinnamon", which appeared in the 12th century, originally meant "reed", probably due to the pipe-like shape of its bark sticks. It appears in the Old Testament (in the Book of Kings), and is cited in many ancient Chinese, Sanskrit, and Egyptian texts.

It was used for its medicinal properties, but also for religious ceremonies and magical rites.

Greeks and Romans appreciated it mainly for its aphrodisiac properties, but also used it as a disinfectant.

Brought back to France by the Crusaders, like many spices, cinnamon was for a long time a luxury product before its use gradually became more widespread from the Renaissance onwards.
