Key active ingredients

Metabolaid®. This patented extract combines hibiscus flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) and lemon verbena leaf (Lippia citriodora), standardized to 15% verbascosides. It was studied at 500 mg per day in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial among 33 overweight or obese adults (published in the European Journal of Nutrition), specifically regarding hunger sensation, satiety, and food intake. These findings, linked to the ingredient manufacturer, are related to research and do not constitute a health claim.

Barberry. The Berberis aristata root extract (standardized 25:1) comes from a plant whose root contains berberine, a compound widely studied by research.

Cocoa. The cocoa seed extract (Theobroma cacao L.), standardized to 29% flavanols and 5% theobromine, comes from Ecuador.

Lactobacillus reuteri. A probiotic strain providing 1 billion CFU per capsule.
