Konjac, to moderate appetite and limit calorie intake
A plant from the Araceae family, Konjac has roots containing fibers called Glucomannan. These soluble fibers will absorb 17 times their volume in water, they have a strong hygroscopic, gelling and viscosifying power.
Hygroscopic power: fibers increase in volume in the presence of water in the stomach, which allows satiety through a volumizing effect.
Gelling, viscosifying power: in the presence of water, the fibers form a real “calorie trap” gel which reduces the absorption of fats and sugars.
Glucomannan consumed as part of a low-calorie diet contributes to weight loss*
*The beneficial effect is obtained by the daily consumption of 3 g of glucomannan in three doses of 1 g each, taken with 1 to 2 glasses of water, before meals and as part of a low-calorie diet.
How to use Vecteur Santé Konjac powder?
Take before the 3 main meals a third of a teaspoon (1.1g) diluted in a large glass of water.
Shake vigorously and drink immediately. Consume with plenty of liquid to ensure the konjac reaches the stomach.
