Organic Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil

Looking for an eucalyptus with a mild, versatile cineole profile that is better tolerated than globulus, appreciated for family diffusion and chest care, and has a fresh eucalyptus scent that is more nuanced and pleasant than the globulus variety? The Organic Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil from Herbes et Traditions (Eucalyptus radiata) is the most widely used eucalyptus in family aromatherapy. Rich in 1,8-cineole (60-75%) with a complement of alpha-terpineol, its profile is milder and more delicate than eucalyptus globulus. 10ml. Ecocert organic certified.

Aromatic and cosmetic profile

  • Rich in 1,8-cineole (60-75%): dominant terpene oxide, classic eucalyptus profile but milder than globulus.
  • Complementary alpha-terpineol: monoterpene alcohol that softens the profile and adds an extra floral note, distinguishing radiata from globulus.
  • More nuanced fresh-eucalyptus scent: less powerful and less camphoraceous than globulus, making it more pleasant for daily family use.
  • 10ml: Ecocert Organic. Herbes et Traditions.

FAQ

Is radiata milder than globulus for children?
Yes, radiata is generally preferred for children over 6 years old, diluted on the soles of the feet. Its cineole content is slightly lower and its overall profile is milder. No eucalyptus should be applied near the face of young children.

Can radiata and globulus be substituted for each other?
Yes, for most uses. For maximum potency (adults), use globulus. For daily or family use, use radiata. Both have the same cineole profile but at different intensities.

Can eucalyptus radiata be diffused all year round?
Yes, it is enjoyed all year round, not just in winter. In summer, pair it with fresher notes (lemon, mint) for a balanced seasonal blend.
