Organic Ravintsara Essential Oil

Are you looking for the go-to cineole essential oil for your winter kit, with a powerful and balanced fresh-camphoraceous scent, derived from the Madagascar camphor tree, most commonly used in family aromatherapy for the cold season, well-tolerated and versatile? Herbes et Traditions Organic Ravintsara EO (Cinnamomum camphora ct cineole) is one of the best-selling EOs in France. Rich in 1,8-cineole (55-70%), with no significant camphor, it is the reference for winter diffusion and massage. 10ml. Ecocert certified organic.

Aromatic and cosmetic profile

  • Rich in 1,8-cineole (55-70%), camphor-free: pure monoterpene oxide profile, without the restrictive ketones of the classic camphor tree. This is what distinguishes it and makes it so precious and well-tolerated.
  • Balanced and pleasant fresh-camphoraceous scent: softer and more balanced than Eucalyptus globulus, with a distinctive slightly woody note. One of the most pleasant EOs to diffuse in winter.
  • The winter reference for family aromatherapy: suitable for diffusion in the presence of the family (children over 6 years old), chest massage, and winter synergies.
  • 10ml: Organic Ecocert. Herbes et Traditions.

FAQ

Are Ravintsara and Ravensara the same plant?
No, this is a common confusion. Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora ct cineole) is the Madagascar camphor tree rich in cineole. Ravensara aromatica (Ravensara aromatica) is a different tree from Madagascar, less used in aromatherapy. Check the Latin name on the label: Cinnamomum camphora for Ravintsara.

Can you combine Ravintsara and Eucalyptus radiata?
Yes, both are rich in cineole and complement each other perfectly for winter synergies. Ravintsara provides a softer, woodier note, while eucalyptus offers a fresher, more classic note. Combined, they form one of the most effective winter synergies.

Is Ravintsara available in a larger size?
Yes, Herbes et Traditions also offers Ravintsara in 30ml for families who use a lot of it in winter. The large size is very economical for regular use.
