Morphez organic infusion blend, 20 g
Discover the Morphez organic infusion blend from Herberry: hawthorn, lemon balm, and valerian, in a 20 g resealable kraft bag. Certified organic farming.
Morphez combines three plants from European herbalism: hawthorn, lemon balm, and valerian. The dried flowering tops, leaves, and roots are blended to create a mild, floral, and lemony infusion, with the characteristic earthy note of valerian.
The three plants in the blend
- Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna): dried flowering tops, flowers and young leaves, with a delicate scent
- Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis): leaves with a fresh, lemony scent
- Valerian (Valeriana officinalis): dried roots with an earthy and musky odor
Aromatic and flavor profile
The infusion offers a golden to amber liquor. The aroma is floral and lemony, with the earthy, musky note of valerian root in the background. On the palate, the flavor is mild, slightly bitter, and herbaceous. A drizzle of honey can sweeten it if desired.

- Water: simmering, approximately 90°C

FAQ
Is the Herberry Morphez blend certified organic?
Yes, all plants in this blend are certified organic, free from pesticides and synthetic chemical inputs.
Which plants make up the Morphez blend?
p>Morphez combines hawthorn (dried flowering tops), lemon balm (dried leaves), and valerian (dried roots).Does this blend contain caffeine?
No. None of these three plants contain caffeine.
Why is the smell of valerian so strong?
Dried valerian root naturally releases a strong, earthy, and musky odor, due to valerenic acid. This is perfectly normal and does not affect the quality of the product, especially since blending it with lemon balm and hawthorn softens the taste.
How should I store my bag?
Keep away from direct light, heat, and humidity. As the smell of valerian is very persistent, close the bag tightly after each use and consume preferably within 12 months of opening.
