N-Acetyl-Cysteine (N.A.C.) 280mg Vit'all+

Support your glutathione production with this Vit'all+ N-Acetyl-Cysteine 280mg: a direct precursor to glutathione, the body's main intracellular antioxidant. Obtained by fermentation on a plant-based substrate. 120 vegetable capsules. Made in France.

What is Vit'all+ N-Acetyl-Cysteine?

N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is an acetylated form of L-Cysteine, a semi-essential sulfur amino acid. NAC is the direct precursor to intracellular glutathione: by providing L-Cysteine (the limiting substrate for glutathione synthesis), NAC stimulates the endogenous production of glutathione within cells. It is better absorbed orally than pure L-Cysteine or glutathione itself. Vit'all+ NAC is obtained by fermentation on a plant-based substrate. 280 mg per capsule. Made in France by Vit'all+, a French family-owned company since 1987.

Why use Vit'all+ N-Acetyl-Cysteine?

  • Glutathione precursor: NAC provides L-Cysteine, the limiting substrate for the synthesis of glutathione, the main intracellular antioxidant
  • Direct antioxidant: NAC itself possesses antioxidant power via its free thiol (-SH) groups
  • Liver support: the liver is the organ richest in glutathione; NAC is traditionally used to support liver function
  • Plant-based origin: obtained by fermentation on a plant-based substrate
  • 280 mg per capsule: concentrated dosage, 120 capsules for a complete course

NAC and glutathione: the intracellular antioxidant duo

Glutathione: the master antioxidant

Glutathione (GSH) is the body's main intracellular antioxidant. It directly neutralizes free radicals, regenerates other antioxidants (Vitamins C and E), and plays a central role in phase II liver detoxification. Glutathione levels decrease naturally with age and under the influence of oxidative stress.

Why NAC instead of direct glutathione?

Oral glutathione has low bioavailability: it is degraded in the gastrointestinal tract before reaching the cells. NAC bypasses this problem by providing L-Cysteine directly to the cells, which use it to synthesize their own glutathione in situ. NAC is therefore the most studied and best-documented pathway for increasing intracellular glutathione.
