What is Vit'all+ Bromelain 500mg?

Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme complex naturally present in pineapple (Ananas comosus), mainly in the stem (fresh stem or trunk), which is more concentrated than the fruit. It is a cysteine protease: it breaks down the peptide bonds of proteins into smaller amino acids and peptides. Its enzymatic activity is measured in GDU (Gelatin Digesting Units): the higher the GDU value, the more active the enzyme.
