What is Vit'all+ SeaNERGY3 Omega 3 Complex?

SeaNERGY3 is an innovative complex from the Vit'all+ laboratory, a French family business since 1987, which brings together three sources of marine omega 3s in three different chemical forms with distinct absorption speeds: EPAX® fish oil (anchovies, sardines, mackerel) in triglyceride form (rapid absorption), SUPERBA2™ Krill oil in phospholipid form (intermediate absorption), and Calanus Zooca™ oil in wax ester form (the only form with slow digestion in the colon). This combination allows for a progressive and sustained release of omega 3s throughout the intestine, maximizing the absorption window. EPAX®: rapid absorption (proximal small intestine)

EPAX® fish oil in triglyceride form is absorbed in the proximal part of the small intestine after emulsification by bile salts and hydrolysis by pancreatic lipases. The triglyceride form is highly concentrated in EPA and DHA (90% omega 3).

SUPERBA2™: intermediate absorption (small intestine)

Krill omega 3s in phospholipid form are absorbed via a different pathway (FATP4 transporters), independent of pancreatic lipases. This pathway is more effective with a low lipid content in the meal.

Calanus Zooca™: slow digestion (colon)

Calanus oil (Calanus finmarchicus) is the only natural source of omega 3 in the form of wax esters. These esters resist digestion in the small intestine and are only hydrolyzed by bacterial esterases in the colon, releasing the omega 3s in the terminal part of the digestive tract, a unique and sustained release.
